I did the best I could, but I'm just to broken. And so is she.
We made the decision this week to part ways. She'll be going home and I'll be staying here. I need to rebuild my life, and I was foolish to not do that before trying to make a relationship work with her. I will not be able to forgive myself for letting her down, so I'll do what I can: rebuild myself and my life the way I want to be before trying to love again.
And who knows, maybe I'll be given the chance to find her again when I've healed...
